About the Role

The Technical Consultant plays a key role in developing, supporting and enhancing Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions for a diverse customer base. Working across the full project lifecycle, you will collaborate with customers, stakeholders and delivery teams to build scalable business applications, automate processes and help organisations maximise the value of Microsoft's modern business application platform. The role offers a balance of project delivery, solution enhancement, customer engagement and ongoing technical development.

Scope of the Role

  • Contribute to developing and supporting Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform solutions
  • Deliver Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate implementations aligned to Microsoft best practices
  • Participate in requirements gathering, workshops, agile ceremonies, testing and go-live activities
  • Develop technical documentation and contribute to solution design and remediation planning
  • Provide application support and maintenance in accordance with agreed service levels
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal delivery teams to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation across customer environments
  • Share technical knowledge, lessons learned and best practices across the broader team
  • Attend customer sites when required

About you

You are a technically capable consultant who enjoys solving business challenges through modern Microsoft technologies. You combine strong development skills with a collaborative approach and are comfortable engaging directly with customers throughout project delivery and support activities. Key Skills and Experience include:

  • 3+ years' experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform
  • Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Pages and Power Automate
  • Experience working across Dynamics 365 modules such as Sales, Customer Service, Customer Insights, or Field Service
  • Experience with Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps and related development tools
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical and customer-facing documentation
  • Experience providing customer-facing support and consulting services
  • Knowledge of PCF development, Azure integrations, build pipelines or DevOps deployment practices will be highly regarded
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-200, PL-400 or Dynamics 365 certifications will be advantageous
