Job Description – Snowflake Data Integration Consultant

Band: E2 (depending on experience)

Location: India (Hybrid/Remote as per project requirement)

Experience: 6-10 Years

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Integration Consultant with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in extracting SAP ECC data using SLT, BODS, and Datavard Glue and integrating it into Snowflake-based analytical solutions.

The candidate must be capable of independently handling end-to-end data integration activities, performance optimization, troubleshooting complex data issues, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support enterprise-scale data solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.

Implement and maintain data extraction and replication processes from SAP ECC using:

SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation)

SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services)

Datavard Glue

Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.

Optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse sizing, clustering, partitioning, and query execution.

Troubleshoot data integration, transformation, and loading issues across source and target systems.

Ensure data quality, consistency, governance, and security standards are adhered to.

Work closely with business users, architects, and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Support production deployments, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements.

Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and solution recommendations.

6+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Analytics.

3+ years of hands-on Snowflake implementation experience.

Proven experience in SAP ECC data extraction and migration projects.

Experience working in global delivery environments with direct customer interaction.
