As Technical Consultant, you will be part of a highly collaborative and customer-focused team dedicated to supporting advanced medical technologies and improving patient outcomes. This position is based in Jeddah and is responsible for supporting customers across the Western & Southern Region of Saudi Arabia. The Technical Consultant will report to the Regional Technical Consulting Manager and will work closely with sales, marketing, and clinical stakeholders. Frequent travel within the assigned territory is required to provide case support, deliver product training, and ensure excellent customer service. This role involves regular interaction with physicians, operating rooms, and hospital staff, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy a field-based environment and are passionate about healthcare technology and patient care.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide technical and clinical support during procedures to ensure the safe and effective use of Medtronic products and therapies as well as developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with healthcare providers and hospital staff.
  • Deliver product training and clinical education to physicians, nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals as well as supporting physicians during procedures and assist with therapy adoption initiatives by maintaining high service levels and response times to key accounts .
  • Maintain accurate records of case support activities, customer interactions, and inventory using company systems such as Salesforce.com (SFDC).
  • Provide clinical support during Neurovascular (NV) , Peripheral Vascular (PVH) and Aortic procedures using Medtronic therapy technologies and ensure effective & safe use of the assigned therapies by end users.
  • Enable further market expansion and protect existing business through consistent field presence.
  • Work closely with Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) and Angiography (Angio) Suite teams to support procedures and deliver clinical training.
  • Medtronic Technologies Supported will be Neurovascular (NV) devices which are specialized, minimally invasive medical tools used to diagnose, access, and treat diseases affecting the blood vessels of the brain and spinal cord, such as strokes, aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) Peripheral Vascular (PVH) devices that are specialized medical tools and implants used in minimally invasive procedures to diagnose, restore, and manage blood flow in vessels outside the brain and heart (such as the arms, legs, and kidneys) Aortic Products which are Aortic Endovascular Repair Systems.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Interventional Radiology (IR), Nursing, Clinical Sciences, or a related healthcare field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in medical devices, clinical support, healthcare services, or a related industry.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build effective relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical and clinical knowledge in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

Preferred qualifications include experience working in catheterization laboratories (Cath Lab) and or Angiography (Angio) Suite, interventional cardiology, vascular, or other minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, as well as familiarity with medical device technologies and clinical case support. Additional certifications or training related to biomedical engineering or clinical applications are considered an advantage. This is a field-based role that requires regular presence in hospitals and healthcare facilities across the assigned territory, with close collaboration with physicians, Cath Lab teams, and internal Medtronic stakeholders to support optimal patient outcomes.
