With teams in Auckland and London, we combine deep specialist knowledge of glass with world-leading 3D design tools for architectural glass and hardware. Our software helps installers, fabricators and hardware suppliers design, quote and manage complex glazing projects with greater speed, accuracy and confidence.

About the Role

We're looking for a Technical Configuration Specialist to join our Onboarding team. In this role, you'll set up and configure the Smart Glazier SaaS product to meet the specific requirements of new customers, working closely with the wider Onboarding team. You'll become a subject-matter expert in the design and ERP side of our software, the glazing industry, and the hardware catalogues used in frameless glass applications (showers, balustrades, shopfronts, and more).

Training starts hands-on: you'll spend time answering customer support tickets to build a solid understanding of the product before moving into full configuration responsibilities. This is a great fit for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, a structured problem-solver, and comfortable working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and set up Smart Glazier software environments per customer specifications
• Maintain and update product databases and hardware libraries
• Enter and validate customer data during onboarding workflows
• Troubleshoot configuration issues and resolve data discrepancies
• Execute project-based work: improving hardware catalogues, entering new product data, configuring usage rules per manufacturer guidelines
• Collaborate with onboarding colleagues across NZ and UK to improve team processes and optimise workflows
• Train customers on how to use the software

What We're Looking For

• Good written and verbal English communication (our working language is English)
• Strong computer literacy (Windows and/or Mac environments)
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
• Self-directed with the ability to manage your own workload
• Bachelor's degree preferred (technical, engineering, or IT-related disciplines a plus)

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in SaaS platform configuration or technical support
• Prior experience in an English-speaking, customer-facing role
• Experience with SQL database management
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
