Job Description

As a Technical Care Trainee, you will learn how to support technical activities related to software, hardware, and network operations. You will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining practical knowledge in optical transport technologies, troubleshooting, and customer support. This program is designed for individuals beginning their careers and interested in developing expertise in telecommunications.

  • Learn to analyze and troubleshoot real technical issues in Nokia optical network products
  • Support hands-on troubleshooting tasks, including log review and basic debugging
  • Assist with lab testing, helping reproduce customer scenarios in a controlled environment
  • Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge articles, and process updates
  • Help prepare technical reports and incident summaries to understand full support workflows
  • Grow your technical skills through structured training, mentoring, and teamwork in a multicultural environment.

You have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Networks, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN) and interest in optical networks (SDH, DWDM, OTN).
  • Familiarity with IP networking fundamentals or basic scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Internship or project experience in telecommunications, networking, or lab testing.
  • Interest in optical transport technologies such as DWDM, OTN, or GMPLS.
  • Some exposure to customer support or technical assistance
  • Motivation to grow into roles that involve customer interaction or on‑call rotation in the future.
