Job Description

Join our growing operation in Zagreb, Croatia, and take ownership of a key customer-facing procurement role.

As a Technical Buyer, you will work closely with one of our strategic customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the seamless supply of technical equipment and spare parts that support critical operations every day.

This position combines procurement, supplier management, inventory coordination, and customer interaction, making it an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships, and making a direct operational impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-users and warehouse managers regarding purchasing requests and inquiries.
  • Process procurement requests and issue purchase orders in line with customer requirements.
  • Source technical equipment, consumables, and spare parts while ensuring quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding critical inventory levels and replenishment needs.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare periodic reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and on-time delivery (OTD).
  • Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
  • Experience sourcing technical equipment, industrial components, or spare parts.
  • Familiarity with the local supplier market in Croatia.
  • Strong sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (Priority is an advantage).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including:
  • Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting)
  • Customer-facing experience is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
