Job Description

Drives early engagement with prospective and strategic customers to unlock systems-level and data center solution design through deep technical customer engagement and influence. Whiteboards power, thermal, whitespace architecture with customer to influence basis of design | helps technical buyers understand Vertiv capabilities and bring new ideas to meet customer requirements.

Responsible for translating the project schedule into technical activities, leading teams of specialists, resolving technical blockers, and validating technical deliverables before release in mission-critical environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Translate the project schedule into detailed technical activities, defining priorities, dependencies, and technical milestones for execution.
  • Lead and coordinate teams of specialists across hardware, software, networks, and infrastructure disciplines.
  • Identify and resolve technical blockers, including root cause analysis, escalation, and coordination with vendors as needed.
  • Review and validate technical deliverables, such as documentation, test plans, operational procedures, and commissioning activities, before release.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, project requirements, and mission-critical best practices.
  • Communicate technical status, risks, and mitigation actions to project stakeholders, operations teams, and leadership.
  • Support knowledge transfer and mentor junior team members when applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor´s degree in, electrical, electronic, mechanical and mechatronic engineering, preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience in technical coordination within mission-critical environments such as data centers or critical infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to translate schedules into technical execution plans and manage multiple dependencies.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build diverse relationships internally and externally.
  • Data Center certifications are desired
  • Analytical skills to understand the impact of market and competitive changes as they affect a product portfolio.
