& Summary

About the role

The Mid-Market Transformation Team supports clients undertaking significant technology-enabled change, helping them modernize systems, improve data flows and adopt digital solutions that support scalable growth. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will take a hands-on role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring solutions are well-designed, well-documented and aligned to client objectives.

You will work closely with architects, engineers, product owners and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into clear technical specifications. This is a varied role where adaptability, curiosity and strong problem-solving skills are key. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple systems, integrations and data transformations, contributing to solutions that deliver measurable value.

What your days will look like:

  • Lead and support technical requirements-gathering activities, working with stakeholders to define system, data and integration needs.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, interface definitions, data models and user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Map current-state and future-state architectures, systems, processes and data flows.
  • Work closely with technical teams to validate technical options, support solution design and ensure feasibility.
  • Define and document API, integration and system interaction requirements.
  • Participate in and support testing activities, including test scenario creation, data preparation and execution for SIT/UAT.
  • Collaborate with Change, PMO and Delivery teams to support planning, reporting and implementation activities.
  • Identify risks, issues and design gaps early, ensuring they are escalated and managed effectively.
  • Contribute to client presentations, demos and technical walkthroughs.

The role is for you if:

  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role on technology-led transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of systems architecture, integrations, APIs, data structures and databases.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language, and vice versa.
  • Experience producing technical documentation such as data flow diagrams, ERDs, API specs, interface designs or system interaction models.
  • Good working knowledge of Agile delivery and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or equivalent.
  • Comfort collaborating closely with technical, data and solution design teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical challenges.
  • Versatility and flexibility, able to operate across multiple workstreams and adapt to changing technology and project needs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in supporting testing activities (SIT, UAT) and working with QA teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, SaaS systems or ERP/CRM technologies is desirable
