Job Description

Technical Business Analyst

Minimum Requirements:

Essential Skills
  • Programming experience (preferably Python and SQL)
  • Root cause analysis of incidents or bugs
  • Production support
Desirable Skills (nice to have, NOT essential)
  • Capital Markets Application
    • Front Arena Prime (preferable)
    • Murex
    • Calypso
    • Ion (WallStreet, Allegro)
    • Iress
  • DevOps
    • Azure DevOps (preferable)
  • Testing requirements scoping
  • Code deployments
  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Business requirements elicitation
  • Understanding of most trading asset classes (e.g., FX, IR, Derivatives, Commodities)

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure availability and efficiency of Trading Position and risk systems for stakeholders.
  • Support stakeholders and users across Front, Middle, and Back Office, as well as dependent systems.
  • Conduct morning checks.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for any logged incidents or failures.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support BAU changes (e.g., report changes, new reports, code changes).
  • Participate in after-hours on-call duty for 1 week on a rotational basis.
