What you will be doing:

  • Translate the high-level product vision and roadmap into detailed technical specifications, functional requirements, and developer-ready user stories.

  • Support the shaping of commercial models by defining the technical logic for pricing engines, packaging configurations, and entitlement logic.

  • Collaborate with Architects to ensure solutions are globally scalable, documenting API contracts and data models that ensure a consistent cross-market experience.

  • Partner with Design and Engineering to conduct technical feasibility studies and deep-dive discovery, uncovering edge cases and system constraints early in the process.

  • Use SQL and data analysis to provide evidence for trade-off decisions, balancing the desire for "magic" member moments against technical debt and system performance.

  • Work embedded within Engineering squads to manage the backlog, refine acceptance criteria, and perform UAT to ensure shipped releases meet high-quality standards and OKR targets.

  • Document technical risks, specifically around data privacy (GDPR/CCPA) and security, ensuring all product features align with global compliance frameworks.

  • Continuously improve the SDLC by refining documentation templates, Jira/Confluence workflows, and championing more efficient "ways of working" between business and tech.

What our client is looking for:

  • Proven experience acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams for consumer-facing digital products.

  • Strong ability to interpret complex data sets (via SQL, Tableau, or similar) to influence product decisions and validate technical outcomes.

  • Familiarity with prototyping tools, API documentation (Swagger/Postman), and technical mapping (Sequence diagrams, Flowcharts).

  • A knack for turning complex technical architecture into clear, jargon-free documentation for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Deep experience working in high-velocity, cross-functional Agile environments, specifically managing backlog refinement and sprint planning.

  • A structured thinker who takes responsibility for the "definition of done" and maintains an action-oriented approach to unblocking developers.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to pivot technical requirements in a fast-paced, evolving product landscape.

  • A commitment to user empathy, ensuring that technical constraints never compromise the end-user experience or the "moments of magic."
