Are you experienced in writing bids for engineering and technical sectors? Were looking for a Bid Writer who can transform detailed technical information into compelling proposals that win work across industries such as product design, software, hardware, and medical technology
You'll work closely with engineers, designers, and commercial teams, creating submissions that showcase innovation, technical excellence, and reliability. From highly technical specifications to compliance-heavy tenders, you'll be the one who brings clarity, precision, and impact.
Lead the bid process end-to-end, ensuring collaboration across technical and commercial teams
Analyse tender requirements in engineering, product design, and technical markets
Translate complex technical details (software, hardware, med-tech, or engineering systems) into persuasive, client-focused narratives
Manage deadlines, coordinate stakeholders, and keep projects on track
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across all submissions
Proofread and refine materials to meet compliance and brand standards
Build and maintain a content library of technical case studies, templates, and reusable materials
Suggest improvements to continuously strengthen the bid process
Proven experience as a Bid Writer / Proposal Writer in engineering, product development, or technical consultancy
Exposure to technical environments such as hardware, software, or med-tech is a strong advantage
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts without losing technical credibility
Strong understanding of compliance and regulated environments
Detail-focused, highly organised, and confident under tight deadlines
Comfortable working with engineers, project managers, and technical specialists
