Garments Machine Automation Technician

Job Title: Technical Automation Manager

Experience: Minimum 5-7 Years Experience in Garments Machine Automation & Engineering

Job Context:

The Automation Technician is responsible for Programmable Automation, Installation, Troubleshooting, Maintenance, and repairing of automated Systems and Equipment used in Garments Production Process.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Arrange necessary Machines for smooth operation before Starting Production.

2. Introducing new Technology for Sewing Machine Operation.

3. Implementing new method for Process Development within Sewing Maintenance Team.

4. Develop Sewing Automation, PLC & HMI Programming, Machine or Attachment Design, Re-engineering of Existing machine.

5. Ensure Operational efficiency of Garments Production Equipment and Mechanical Systems through timely inspection and repair.

6. Work with IE, saving SMV, reduce Machine Breakdown Time, Maintenance Cost and Loss Time.

7. Develop a preventive, periodic maintenance schedule and ensure proper implementation.

8. Properly keeping stock of spare parts and maintaining stock summary as per date.

9. Make proper planning for line layout setup like machine sorting, folder sorting, machine parts sorting etc.

10. Monitor the all kind of sewing machine parts issue and use on a daily basis.

11. Sewing Maintenance and IES team development and training.

12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

Additional Requirements:

High school Diploma or Equivalent (required); Bachelor's Degree in Textile Engineering or a related field (preferred).

Strong knowledge of the Machine Automation Process.

Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly diagnose and resolve Technical Issues.

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
