STAD Technical Associate III

Job Overview: You’ll be part of the MCPC Information Technology Asset Disposition Production team that sorts, tests, erases, validates, and clean & preps assets for disposal and remarketing. Our team is highly knowledgeable on completing their tasks and each member is an excellent trainer to show new employees how to complete their objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Sorting assets into an asset management database
• Testing assets with third party software to capture specs and data from assets
• Ensuring the erasure applications complete data destruction and validate
• Physically removing identifiable markings from devices and cleaning the asset
• Use a pallet jack to transport assets around the warehouse
• Use a computer and peripherals to collect, record, and analyze information
• Have the ability to train other employees on all functions of the production
• Perform repair functions on electronic equipment
• You’ll also need to be able to:
• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Push utility carts up to 60 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and production standards

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Knowledgeable of electronic equipment
• Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment
• Eagerness and Willingness to learn, be a team player, & attention to detail
• A+ Certification
