Job Description

CREAF is seeking to recruit a Technical Assistant for the C4SQ+ project (CARBON 4 SOIL QUALITY+), ref. Euro-MED0601855, funded by the Euro-Med Programme of the European Union.

A full-time employment contract (37.5 hours per week) is offered, with immediate start, and a duration until December 31, 2027. The gross annual salary offered is €18,959.16 (corresponding to professional category T6).

MAIN FUNCTIONS:

  • Installation of different carbon farming covers in a regenerative horticultural system.

  • Carrying out day-to-day tasks for the four treatments: preparation, sowing, irrigation, weeding of spontaneous plants, and harvesting.

  • Monitoring and recording production data and time dedicated to the different tasks, as well as collecting soil samples.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in horticultural work.

  • Proven experience working on regenerative ferms.

ASSESSABLE CONDITIONS:

  • The main workplace will be in the Garrotxa region; therefore, candidates residing in the area will be especially valued.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Priority will be given to candidates with a certified and officially recognized disability equal to or greater than 33%, provided that it is compatible with the proper performance of the job.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA:

  1.   2. Pre-selection: assessment of compliance with the minimum requirements of the job offer.

  3. Selection: evaluation of the pre-selected candidates through scoring based on objective criteria, interviews with a shortlist of candidates, and a proposed exercise.

  4. Final decision: if a suitable candidate is identified, they will be formally informed of their selection, and all other participants in the selection process will be notified by email.
