Provides patient care services, cleans, maintains and stocks supplies and equipment and applies the principles of standard precautions and infection control in a variety of settings. The Float Pool (FP) Technician demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate for the population assigned. The FP technician will receive assignments as delegated by the RN. The FP Technician will be able to access data reflective of the patient’s status and report the information needed to identify each patient’s needs relative to this information. The technician will provide care based on established policies and procedures. The FP Technician performs clerical, phlebotomy, safety attendant and other duties as assigned within their scope.
High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years of acute inpatient or emergency technician experience preferred. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.
CNA, Phlebotomy, ECG Tech, or EMT preferred.

The base compensation range for this role is $16.75 - $23.39 hourly.
Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include any applicable incentive compensation programs such as shift differentials, clinical ladders, and other incentives that may be available for those in eligible positions.
