NAVER Vietnam Visual eXperience (VVX)

The Vietnam Visual eXperience represents NAVER Vietnam’s strategic expansion into the field of next-generation media and production technology.
As part of NAVER’s global vision to redefine storytelling through technology, the Visual eXperience team - known as Real-Time Engine Studio - combines production technology and artificial intelligence (AI) to build the next-generation content container for NAVER’s platforms.

We provide cutting-edge media technologies for NAVER’s diverse storytelling products, including CHZZK, Virtual Streamers, K-POP, and Drama, enabling creators to deliver richer, more immersive visual experiences to users.

With a strong focus on AI-driven real-time rendering, virtual production, and visual computing, the Vietnam Visual eXperience Center aims to become a global innovation center - bridging creativity, technology, and storytelling to shape the future of visual content within NAVER’s ecosystem.

We are looking for a Junior/Middle Technical Artist.

Your day-to-day:

• Develop and optimize graphics technologies to bring the Art Director’s visual direction to life across real-time environments.
• Rapidly prototype art-driven features that require technical implementation, improving production efficiency and workflow speed.
• Establish performance and optimization guidelines, and provide technical support to ensure stable, high-quality output.
• Build tools, automate workflows, and support pipeline improvements to enhance artists’ productivity.
• Develop shaders and visual effects based on Unreal Engine and Unity’s rendering systems.
• Collaborate closely with Art, Tech, and Production teams to solve complex visual-technical challenges and ensure consistency across pipelines.

Your background:

• 3+ years of experience in the same position.
• Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (4.x–5.x) projects.
• Practical experience with Unity-based production workflows.
• Deep understanding of rendering pipelines, material systems, and lighting fundamentals.
• Experience creating and optimizing Landscape, HLOD, and large-scale world content.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for tool development, automation, and pipeline scripting.
• Strong shader development capabilities and the ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Art and Tech teams.

It's a big plus if you:

• Have an understanding of virtual streamers and experience in content and performance production.
• Have experience with procedural art workflows using Niagara, Houdini, Substance, or similar tools.
• Have worked with collaborative version-control systems such as Perforce.
• Have experience creating AR/VR content or interactive real-time experiences.
• Have integrated AI models into production pipelines (Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, etc.) or built custom image/video generation workflows.
• Have hands-on experience using image/video generation AI models (Nano Banana, Flux, Kling, Veo, Runway, etc.).
• Have fine-tuned custom AI models using LoRA, ControlNet, or similar techniques and deployed them as APIs.
