Job Description

Scope:

  • Partner with business, IT operations, and engineering teams to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions focused on ITSM and Integrations.
  • Provide hands-on developmet and technical leadership for enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
  • Drive automation, process optimization, platform governance, and operational improvements.
  • Support platform innovation while mentoring developers and collaborating with stakeholders.

Technical Environment:

  • ServiceNow Modules: ITSM, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, IntegrationHub
  • Development: JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies
  • Integrations: REST, SOAP, LDAP, OAuth, SSO, JDBC, MID Server
    Automation & Operations: Flow Designer, Scheduled Jobs, Notifications, Orchestration
  • Platform Enhancements: Service Portal, Workspace, UI Builder
    DevOps & Governance: ATF, CI/CD pipelines, Agile, Git, Jenkins, security best practices

What you’ll do:

Design & Architect

  • Design scalable and maintainable ITSM and integration solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Translate business requirements and ITIL processes into technical designs and workflows.
  • Define development standards, reusable components, and platform best practices.
  • Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and solution design workshops.

Develop & Deliver

  • Configure and develop ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Service Catalog.
  • Develop workflows, catalog items, client scripts, UI policies, business rules, Script Includes, and Flow Designer automations.
  • Build and maintain integrations with enterprise applications using REST, SOAP, LDAP, JDBC, OAuth, SSO, and MID Server.
  • Develop automation solutions using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and orchestration capabilities.
  • Enhance user experience through Service Portal, Workspace, and UI Builder customizations.
  • Guide & Govern
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for development teams.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with platform standards.
  • Support governance activities, compliance requirements, and release management processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

Operate & Optimize

  • Support platform upgrades, patches, and release activities with minimal business impact.
  • Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.
  • Ensure reliability and stability of integrations, workflows, and automation processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and platform optimization strategies.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 9–11 years of IT experience with strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  • Strong expertise in ITSM implementation, customization, and enterprise integrations.
  • Deep proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting REST/SOAP APIs, LDAP, OAuth, SSO, JDBC, and MID Server integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Experience with Service Portal, Workspace, UI Builder, and automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA and CIS-ITSM preferred.
