Roles & Responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Cloud Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable, secure, and high-performing technology platforms. The role demands deep expertise in cloud architecture, distributed systems, DevOps, and platform engineering along with the ability to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will play a strategic and execution-focused role, driving innovation, ensuring architectural governance, and mentoring engineering teams while delivering measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Solution Design

  • Define end-to-end architecture for cloud-native and hybrid solutions.

  • Design scalable, resilient, and secure systems using modern architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first).

  • Create architecture blueprints, reference models, and technical roadmaps.

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and governance.

Cloud & Platform Engineering

  • Lead architecture and implementation across cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).

  • Design and optimize Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/GKE) based platforms, including GPU workloads where applicable.

  • Define strategies for:

    • Autoscaling (horizontal & vertical)

    • High availability & disaster recovery

    • Multi-region deployments

  • Optimize cloud cost, performance, and resource utilization.

DevOps & Automation

  • Architect CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments.

  • Define release strategies (blue-green, canary deployments).

  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform/Bicep.

  • Ensure observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.

4. Security & Compliance

  • Design secure architectures aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.

  • Implement identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection strategies.

  • Ensure secure integration between on-premises and cloud (hybrid connectivity).

5. Performance, Reliability & Scalability

  • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and performance issues.

  • Ensure systems meet SLAs for availability, latency, and throughput.

  • Drive proactive reliability engineering and chaos testing practices.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Engage with product owners, DevOps teams, and security teams for seamless delivery.

  • Communicate architectural decisions and trade-offs effectively.

7. Leadership & Mentorship

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.

  • Mentor developers, DevOps engineers, and junior architects.

  • Establish best practices, coding standards, and architectural governance.

8. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, data platforms) with a focus on improving cloud platform engineering, automation, and operational reliability

  • Drive innovation initiatives and proof-of-concepts (POCs).

  • Continuously improve platform capabilities and developer productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Strong hands-on experience in cloud platforms (preferably Azure).

  • Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience in microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.

  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management.

  • Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching systems.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML or GPU-based workloads is a strong plus.

Architectural Competencies

· Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems using structured architecture approaches such as arc42, C4 Model, or 4+1 View Model, ensuring clarity across logical, development, and runtime perspectives.

· Strong understanding of design patterns and architectural principles, applied consistently within enterprise frameworks like TOGAF, enabling alignment with business capabilities, technology standards, and long-term roadmaps.

· Experience in defining enterprise architecture standards and governance, leveraging TOGAF (ADM lifecycle, governance models) and documenting solutions using structured approaches such as arc42 or C4 Model for better stakeholder communication and traceability.
