We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with deep expertise in modern data platforms, big data ecosystems, and cross‑functional solution design. This role is central to shaping high‑quality architecture standards, guiding development teams, and driving technology‑led business opportunities across a complex enterprise environment.

You will act as a strategic technology partner, ensuring architectural consistency, enabling innovation, and supporting mission‑critical, high‑resilience platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality architecture and design documentation, ensuring best practices and guidelines are consistently applied.
  • Assess existing system architectures and collaborate with IT stakeholders to recommend improvements and future‑ready solutions.
  • Provide technical supervision and guidance to development teams to ensure alignment and consistency across platforms.
  • Research emerging technologies and propose adoption strategies where beneficial.
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders across multiple teams to address data platform technology matters.
  • Act as a technology sparring partner for business teams exploring new opportunities centered around the data platform.
  • Drive new initiatives from ideation and PoC stages through to product delivery, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Evangelize the value of new technologies for the AIR platform and articulate both opportunities and risks.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years as a senior IT software engineer or architect.
  • Strong experience with big data and modern technology stacks across on‑premise and cloud ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to deliver cross‑functional, multi‑platform designs for mission‑critical environments requiring real‑time performance and high resilience.
  • Expertise in Solution & Functional Architecture (SAFA), Data Architecture, and Data Modeling
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
