What you will do:

Workplace Options (WPO) requires a Technical Architect to lead the architecture and design of WPO’s products. This position requires extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft full stack technologies, paired with a strong command over modern front-end frameworks such as Angular 4, React JS, and Node JS to design and implement scalable applications.
Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust .NET-based applications using modern architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions on Azure/AWS, focusing on microservices, APIs, and DevOps.
  • Take complete understanding of WPO’s products and their requirements
  • Architect and design products and solutions using various technology and tools taking individual ownership, adhering to Architecture principles.
  • Engineer and Manage data transfers, protocols and formats as required for the software technology solution and integration requirements
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps, ensuring availability and cost efficiency
  • Validate novel or high-risk designs by developing prototypes to ensure technical feasibility before full-scale deployment
  • Any additional tasks pertinent to the position, as deemed appropriate by management

Qualifications/Skills:

  • A maximum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in the space of software development – architecture, design and development
  • Detailed understanding of different application architectures, data storages, databases and should be proficient in application development with strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core / .NET 7+.
  • Experience with Cloud technologies, RESTful APIs, Web Services, and API Gateways patterns.
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud platform - [Azure Service Bus, Azure Integration Services, Azure API Gateways, Azure Key Vault, Azure App Service]
  • Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Azure DevOps (experience with AWS is an added advantage).
  • Experience with relational databases (SQL Server) and NoSQL databases
  • Exposure to Atlassian JIRA and Confluence is desired.
  • Experience with Single Sign-on Technologies is required (Okta, AzureAD, AuthO).
  • DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Implementing security controls and governance frameworks (e.g., Azure Well-Architected Framework) to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence (preferred but not essential) Python knowledge and experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Demonstrate courteousness and respect to people across diverse cultures, age groups and varied business groups
