About the role:

Together, we’re shaping the future of construction. Ready to make your impact? Join us as Technical Application Engineer! This role can be based in either Poland, Italy, Spain, France or Belgium. Travel is expected to these countries 3 -4 times a month.

Join Promat as a Technical Application Engineer and play a key role in transforming customer requirements into innovative, compliant insulation and refractory solutions that support some of the world's most demanding industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical application support to customers and colleagues.
  • Develop compliant insulation and refractory solutions.
  • Interpret customer requirements and specifications.
  • Support projects from design through to after-sales.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Respond to technical enquiries and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, R&D and Engineering teams.
  • Manage multiple technical projects and priorities.
  • Liaise with testing and certification bodies.
  • Support product testing and validation activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Deliver accurate and practical technical guidance.
  • Maintain expertise in products, applications and industry standards.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in high-temperature insulation, refractories, or industrial furnace applications.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and customer requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident preparing technical calculations, documentation and recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work with customers and internal teams.
  • Practical, solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
