JOB BRIEF

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role serves as the key link between the company and poultry producers, providing both technical and marketing support.

As the primary veterinary technical expert for our company Animal Health poultry products and services in Malaysia, the incumbent will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver technical guidance, drive product adoption, and communicate the economic and health benefits of disease prevention and control programs. The role focuses on improving poultry health outcomes, farm productivity, and food safety.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Provide technical support and solutions to commercial poultry producers on health and farm management issues
  • Advise customers on designing effective health, vaccination, and disease control programs tailored to their operations
  • Lead technical planning, conduct vaccination training, execute field trials, technical paper writing
  • Conduct vaccination and hatchery audits, including review and analysis of audit reports
  • Contribute to the development and execution of long-term technical strategies to support growth of existing and new products
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement account strategies
  • Gather and communicate market insights to enhance technical services and product offerings
  • Represent the company at key industry meetings, delivering technical presentations and insights
  • Liaise with key opinion leaders, universities, and industry stakeholders on poultry health issues
  • Develop technical materials and support product positioning
  • Provide technical input during sales meetings and support marketing activities
  • Manage device team to optimize vaccination practices and application methods
  • Ensure timely reporting of adverse events and product complaints in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support cross-training initiatives within the veterinary services team across the cluster (Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei)

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in veterinary medicine. Preferably at least 5 years experiences in poultry or related animal health pharmaceutical
  • Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia is compulsory
  • Must hold a valid driving license
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within team environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively (>50%) within Malaysia, with occasional travel to Singapore and Brunei
