This role is working with the Consulting and Operations Business Line of the Egis group on the 30 year M25 Design Build Finance Operate (DBFO) project, one of our flagship road Operations and Maintenance (O&M) projects in the UK. The role is in Connect Plus the concession company that manages the M25 network to deliver safer, more reliable journeys for our customers.
The Technical and Investment Director is accountable to the Connect Plus Chief Executive for the technical performance, asset management strategy and asset investment decisions of Connect Plus. The role covers all technical performance aspects relating to works including lifecycle investment (renewal / heavy repairs), National Highways funded improvements and third-party projects. For lifecycle aspects under direct Connect Plus control the role ensures the effective planning, delivery, and optimisation of lifecycle investment, asset performance, and technical governance to meet contractual, financial, and handback requirements.
The location of the role is at the Connect Plus head office in South Mimms, with travel to other operational depots and offices around the network and for meetings with key stakeholders.
