Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Campaign Analyst with a strong background in database marketing, campaign execution, customer data management, and direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with campaign strategy, marketing, analytics, product, and execution teams to develop, automate, and deliver targeted marketing campaigns that support customer acquisition, engagement, and business growth objectives.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with large datasets, campaign management platforms, automation processes, and cross-functional stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical campaign solutions while ensuring data accuracy, campaign quality, and operational efficiency.

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Contract Length: 12 Months (FTE Conversion Possible)
Hours: 9 AM–5 PM EST

Pay: T4 $33 / IC: $38
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review, analyze, and interpret campaign business requirements and develop detailed Technical Implementation Plans.
  • Build, execute, and maintain direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns using campaign management and database marketing tools.
  • Prepare customer segmentation lists and campaign audiences based on documented business requirements.
  • Design and implement campaign automation solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and execution quality.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, technical audits, and validation testing to ensure campaign accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze campaign execution results, identify issues, and recommend improvements to campaign processes and performance.
  • Manage campaign timelines, project deliverables, and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Campaign Strategy, Measurement Analytics, Product, Marketing, and Campaign Execution teams to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Monitor campaign file execution processes and support lead generation workflows to ensure timely and accurate campaign deployment.
  • Troubleshoot campaign execution issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve technical and operational challenges.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance automation, and improve campaign operations.
  • Develop and maintain campaign documentation, technical specifications, templates, and process libraries.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer activities and contribute to team best practices and operational consistency.
  • Act as a project lead for small to medium-sized campaign initiatives and support cross-functional project delivery.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in campaign management, database marketing, direct marketing, or marketing analytics environments.
  • Proven experience developing, executing, and optimizing customer marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM), campaign lifecycle management, and audience segmentation.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical campaign specifications and execution plans.
  • Demonstrated experience with campaign automation, process optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Experience supporting marketing operations, lead generation processes, and campaign execution workflows
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, validation, and analysis.
  • Strong experience with SAS, Unica Campaign, or equivalent campaign management platforms.
  • Experience working with customer databases, data warehouses, and marketing datasets.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data and support campaign optimization efforts.
  • Experience developing customer lists, segmentation strategies, and targeting methodologies.
  • Knowledge of campaign automation tools and marketing technology platforms.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
Preferred
  • Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of direct marketing compliance, customer data governance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting large-scale customer acquisition, retention, or cross-sell marketing programs.
  • Exposure to campaign measurement, reporting, and marketing analytics methodologies.
  • Experience leading small-to-medium campaign delivery projects.
  • Knowledge of customer data platforms (CDP), CRM systems, or enterprise marketing ecosystems.
