The Opportunity
As a Commissioning Engineer within the Cross Functional Delivery Team, you'll play an important role in supporting the safe and successful commissioning of Hinkley Point C.
Working as part of the Technical Analysis Team, you'll provide engineering support across a range of disciplines, including Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (I&C), HVAC, Mechanical and Process Engineering You'll help teams solve technical issues, review commissioning results and make sure activities meet safety and quality requirements.
Your work will help move Hinkley Point C from construction into operation, supporting one of Europe's most complex engineering programmes and helping Britain move towards a low-carbon future.
You'll be based at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, working alongside multidisciplinary teams at one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects. The role will initially be hybrid, with 2–3 days a week on site or at our Bridgwater office. As commissioning activities increase, you'll spend more time working on site.
This is a great opportunity to build experience across a wide range of commissioning activities. From reviewing test results and resolving technical queries to supporting procedure development and sharing operational learning, you'll play a key part in helping the station achieve operational readiness.
