This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.
Expectations and Eligibility
Professors Hatem Rouached and Federica Brandizzi invite applications from high school teachers interested in participating in the SURE-PLANT training program. This paid internship offers teachers the opportunity to engage in a faculty-guided research project and hands-on demonstrations for one month.
Participants will work 20 hours per week (four hours per day) for up to four weeks and receive a stipend of $2,500 The start and end dates of the internship are flexible to accommodate the needs of both the participating teachers and the Extension professionals. However, most internships will be limited to 4 weeks, on June-August, 2026
