To strengthen our team in Jamaica, we are looking for a:

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Jamaica

(preferably Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, hotel zone)

YOUR MISSION

Advise and train customers on the use, application, and preparation of the company's various products, with an emphasis on bakery knowledge and experience in pastry and/or chocolate making, while conducting technical product demonstrations that drive sales. You must ensure that your work is performed under the safety, quality, food safety, and environmental protection conditions defined by the company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Provide technical advice to customers regarding the company's products: Emphasis on Pastry, desirable knowledge of Bakery and/or Chocolate, and desirable experience in Hospitality.

• Respond to customer inquiries, requirements, or complaints.
• Advise customers on product applications and technical specifications.
• Advise customers on achieving better product yields.
• Advise customers on estimated product costing.
• Advise customers on product display and decoration.
• Recommend and/or suggest new product applications.
• Prepare work plans and produce and submit technical reports on activities or visits carried out.

1. Train customers on the use and technical specifications of the company's products: Bakery, Pastry and/or Chocolate.

• Prepare training courses and presentations for customers and distributor sales teams.
• Deliver training courses at customer facilities or Innovation Centers.
• Prepare and conduct technical demonstrations.

1. Conduct product trials requested by the Research and Development area.
2. Deliver training requested by the Commercial area.
3. Report unsafe conditions and maintain a risk prevention attitude.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

• Technical qualification in Food Technology, Bakery, Pastry, or related field.
• 2 years of experience in related positions.
• User-level computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Pastry Technician with Hospitality experience.
• Preparation of bakery, pastry, and chocolate products
• Technical presentations and demonstrations
• Knowledge of machinery and safe handling.
• Bakery and pastry theory.
• Food technology.
• Health legislation and regulations.
• Curiosity about digital tools, data, and AI.
• Languages: Spanish desirable.
