As Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day client-driven changes within the laboratory systems. This includes coordinating and implementing client requests such as report re-issuance, updating product specifications, and ensuring all updates are compliant with internal quality systems and accreditation standards. You will act as a liaison between the technical team and client services to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Please note this is a one year fixed term contract, in a hybrid role. Working part time 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday 10:00-14:00.

During the first three months of training the role will be fully onsite for the first three months.

  • Managing and processing client-requested changes within laboratory systems in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinating and executing re-issuance of reports in line with client requirements and internal procedures.
  • Updating and maintaining client specifications, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected and compliant with current standards.
  • Acting as a point of contact between the technical team and client services.
  • Ensuring all updates and reports comply with relevant SOPs, quality standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Reviewing data and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to release.
  • Tracking turnaround times for client requests to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Escalating issues or discrepancies to the Technical Manager as required.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of processes related to reporting and specification management.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all changes.
  • Upholding client confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Complying with Eurofins Health & Safety Policy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administrative or technical support role within a laboratory or regulated environment is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is an advantage but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and in a team.
