Weir Marine Engineering is currently looking for a Technical & Administrative Assistant for the naval Combat and Control Systems (CCS) section. This permanent position based in Dartmouth (NS) consists of providing technical and administrative support to the section and particularly to the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) project support team.
Since 1953, Weir has operated and managed the Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE), a Department of National Defence (DND) facility located in LaSalle, with operations in Halifax, Lévis, Victoria, and Ottawa-Gatineau. More than 460 Weir employees currently support the Royal Canadian Navy and DND by providing specialized testing and evaluation services across a wide range of technical disciplines. This strong foundation in engineering excellence, innovation, and mission-critical support reflects Weir’s broader commitment to solving complex challenges across industries worldwide.
