SAP BASIS Lead / Senior Consultant (S/4HANA & Cloud)

Resource Type: Prioritize FTEs over subcons

Location: 1st preference is Dallas, TX ; 2nd preference is Raleigh, NC

Work Mode: Hybrid work mode is ok. Open for remote with travel, as needed.

SAP BASIS Lead / Senior Consultant (S/4HANA & Cloud)

Experience: 10-15 Years | Location: US (Onsite)

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with expertise in SAP S/4HANA implementations, Carve-Out programs, SAP HANA administration, upgrades, migrations, SAP RISE, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation, carve-out, migration, conversion, and upgrade projects.
  • Manage SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, EWM, SLT, Fiori, GRC, Portal, and Solution Manager.
  • Perform system installations, refreshes, system copies, Lean System Copy, SUM/DMO migrations, kernel upgrades, and patching.
  • Administer SAP HANA, including backup/recovery, performance tuning, capacity planning, and HA/DR.
  • Support SAP RISE PCE, cloud migrations, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Manage Solution Manager (EWA, ChaRM, ITSM, DVM), transport management, monitoring, security, and SSO.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience.
  • Expertise in:
  • SAP S/4HANA Implementations, Upgrades & Conversions
  • SAP BASIS & NetWeaver Administration
  • SAP HANA Administration
  • SAP Carve-Out & Selective Data Migration
  • SUM/DMO Migrations
  • SAP Solution Manager (EWA, ChaRM, ITSM)
  • Fiori Administration
  • HA/DR, Backup & Recovery
  • SAP RISE PCE
  • Azure & AWS Cloud Platforms
  • Knowledge of Oracle, HANA, MS SQL, Sybase, and Windows/Linux (SUSE, RHEL, OEL, AIX) environments.

Preferred

  • SAP BASIS Certification.
  • Experience with SAP DMLT, SLO, Azure Monitoring, and large enterprise SAP landscapes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
