About the Role
As a Technical Accounting Analyst, you'll be at the core of our reinsurance operations — ensuring financial accuracy, managing complex transactions, and keeping our operational engine running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Book and process accounting transactions accurately and in a timely manner across complex reinsurance portfolios
Manage billing and collection cycles, ensuring invoices are issued correctly and payments are tracked and followed up
Identify and resolve account and payment discrepancies, working closely with clients and internal teams to reach swift resolutions
Interpret complex reinsurance agreements to ensure transactions are processed in line with contractual terms
Participate in projects and special tasks, provide training and assistance to team members, and conduct root cause and failure analysis of workflows

You'll join a motivated Operations team managing Reinsurance portfolios for Brazil & South Cone. We collaborate daily with global peers to deliver fast, effective, and high-quality service. Our continuous improvement mindset keeps us at the forefront of reinsurance operations.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
1–3 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, or a related field, with end-to-end reinsurance operations knowledge
Strong financial accounting knowledge applied to complex reinsurance transactions
Advanced Excel skills and enthusiasm for data analysis; intermediate MS Office proficiency
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or Insurance
Intermediate English proficiency
These are additional nice to haves
Experience with Power BI and R for data insights
Spanish proficiency for South Cone client engagement
Advanced reinsurance technical accounting expertise in Life & Health
Strong ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
