THE OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Technical Account Specialist to join our Service Operations division based in Brisbane, QLD.

The purpose of this role is to provide advanced account specific technical solutions support and management for premium accounts and customised implementations through all engagement phases from initial engagement through to implementation, support, continuous improvement, and ongoing technical management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage assigned customer solutions, acting as the primary technical escalation point to ensure service performance, incident resolution, customer satisfaction, and achievement of SLA commitments.
  • Provide advanced technical support and operational excellence through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, major incident management, risk mitigation, proactive monitoring, maintenance, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and deliver solution lifecycle activities, including upgrades, migrations, implementations, testing, and operational handovers, ensuring adherence to best practices and documented standards.
  • Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships by providing regular service reviews, performance reporting, trusted technical advice, and coordinating effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customer representatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement and knowledge sharing by developing technical documentation, support procedures and knowledge articles, mentoring team members, enhancing support capabilities, and providing after-hours support for critical incidents when required.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in a senior Technical Support, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, or Account Management role within the IT industry.
  • Advanced expertise in Windows Server environments, including High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and enterprise infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of database connectivity, data analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex technical environments.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting office printing, document management, and business process automation solutions.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and collaborating with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party IT partners to deliver successful outcomes.
