  • Build trusted-advisor relationships by sharing knowledge of Aerospace & Defense industry trends, processes, competitive landscapes, and value chain dynamics through thought leadership presentations and workshops
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships through remote selling and face-to-face visits, laying the foundation for lasting software sales and business growth
  • Work closely with Aerospace & Defense customers to understand their business strategy, align their needs with the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, and identify land and expand opportunities
  • Develop customer sales strategies, create executive briefs, communicate solution visions, and prepare financially quantified value propositions and business cases
  • Lead complex prescriptive sales engagements, coordinating Siemens and partner resources to win new business, including presentations, demonstrations, proofs of concept, and proposals

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry, with a strong track record in customer-facing sales, business development, or presales roles in software companies
  • Solid technical knowledge in some of the following: PLM, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), or Digital Manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong relationship management, and comfort with CXO-level discussions
  • Leadership and project management skills to define, track, and deliver structured work plans that drive results
  • Ability to travel within Europe (10-30%) to support customer engagements and strategic initiatives
  • Fluent English, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across diverse audiences
  • Experience applying presales practices and standards, and working independently on cross-portfolio engagements

Nice to have

  • Background in consulting or implementing product development processes in Aerospace & Defense, with documented project examples
  • Experience with Siemens Xcelerator or related portfolio solutions
  • Knowledge of additional European languages
