Job Description

Shape the Future of Industrial Energy with AI

At etalytics, you won’t just sell software — you will help some of the world’s most energy-intensive industries fundamentally rethink how energy is used, optimized, and decarbonized.

Across industries like data centers, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure, energy systems are becoming more complex, more dynamic, and more business-critical than ever before. Rising energy costs, decarbonization targets, and growing operational demands are pushing companies to move beyond traditional approaches.

This is where etalytics comes in.

Born out of research at TU Darmstadt, Germany, etalytics combines deep engineering rigor with the speed and ambition of a scaling technology company. Our platform uses AI, advanced analytics, digital twins, and predictive optimization to transform raw operational data into intelligent decisions that reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and improve resilience.

As a Technical Account Executive, you will work at the intersection of technology, business impact, and climate innovation You will partner with industrial leaders across operations, engineering, sustainability, and executive teams to uncover opportunities, shape solutions, and guide customers toward smarter, data-driven energy management.

This is a role for someone who wants to sell something real: measurable efficiency gains, meaningful emissions reductions, and technology that directly improves how critical infrastructure performs in the real world.

Tasks

  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery and qualification through technical validation, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities across energy-intensive industries such as data centers, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and critical infrastructure
  • Lead consultative customer conversations focused on operational challenges, energy costs, efficiency potential, and decarbonization goals.
  • Translate complex AI and energy optimization capabilities into clear business value for technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with solution engineers, data experts, and internal teams to develop tailored proposals and value-driven customer solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships with stakeholders across engineering, operations, sustainability, and leadership functions.
  • Represent etalytics at relevant industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline and deliver reliable forecasting in a fast-growing, high-trust environment.

Several years of B2B sales experience in a technology, SaaS, or software-driven environment

This helps you navigate complex buying processes and confidently position advanced technical solutions in a consultative sales setting.

Ability to discuss technical concepts involving data, analytics, or operational systems

Our customers operate sophisticated infrastructure and energy environments, so you need to connect technical capabilities to real operational needs.

Experience engaging with technical stakeholders such as engineers, operators, or infrastructure teams

Many buying decisions involve technical and operational leaders who expect credible, well-grounded conversations.

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technology into measurable business value

Success in this role depends on showing how AI-driven energy optimization improves efficiency, lowers costs, and supports sustainability goals.

Native-level proficiency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus

Eligibility to work remotely within the United States

This role is fully remote in the U.S. and requires effective collaboration across customer locations and time zones.

Nice to Have

Experience in energy technology, industrial software, or infrastructure-related sectors

Familiarity with these environments can help you ramp up faster and better understand customer priorities.

Industry exposure to data centers or other energy-intensive operations

These industries are highly relevant to etalytics and offer strong opportunities for AI-driven optimization.

Familiarity with AI platforms, advanced analytics, or digital twin technologies

Our platform is built around these capabilities, so prior exposure can shorten the learning curve.

Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot

About etalytics

We turn complex energy systems into intelligent orchestrated infrastructures.

With our AI platform etaONE, we help industrial companies and data center operators analyze, understand, and automatically optimize their energy flows in real time — without any additional hardware.

Whether in automotive manufacturing, the pharmaceutical & chemical industry, or IT data center infrastructure: our customers face growing pressure — volatile energy prices, tightening emissions regulations, and limited resources are colliding with highly complex technical systems.

etaONE acts as a “digital conductor”: it detects patterns, forecasts loads, and dynamically controls systems — more efficiently, more sustainably, and more reliably. Energy savings of up to 50%, ROI in less than a year, and significantly reduced CO₂ emissions speak for themselves.

The software enhances operational stability by using predictive analytics to maintain steady system behavior, avoid load spikes, and detect anomalies in real time. Dashboards provide instant visibility into deviations, allowing personnel to act immediately — reducing downtime and minimizing manual inspections.

Our AI algorithms are based on over ten years of research and are now deployed in large-scale industrial facilities operated by companies such as Volkswagen, Merck, Sanofi, Equinix, Digital Realty, and many others.

Behind etalytics stands a founding team that combines deep research expertise with practical implementation experience — turning cutting-edge innovation from leading German institutions into real-world impact.

Our goal: Accelerate the energy transition where it has the most impact — directly in operations.
