Job: Techncial Support - Alarm Installation

Location: West Dublin, Ireland

Type: Permanent

Working Arrangement: 4 Days in the office

Salary: 40-45k EUR

What you would do as our Technical Support

We are seeking to expand our highly motivated Technical Support team with a skilled Support Engineer to provide technical support for our products. As a member of the Technical Support team within a busy, dynamic office environment, the primary objective will be to provide efficient telephone support our installer base.

You would also:

• Provide customer technical support to alarm installation engineers via telephone.
• Test hardware and software features of our equipment as they are being developed.
• Provide technical assistance to the Sales staff and other engineers as required and provide training to alarm installation engineers.
• Keep detailed records of call issues and solutions in a call logging system.
• Monitor SecureComm connections and report any incidents or outages in a timely manner and monitor and respond to email queries and website applications from alarm installers.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a good knowledge of intruder alarm system wiring and programming.
• Has excellent problem-solving skills.
• Has an engaging manner on the phone and have exemplary communication skills.
• Has excellent PC skills and an understanding of computer networking.
• Is a good team player with strong communications skills.
• Is educated to FETAC level 6 or equivalent in electric/electronic systems or similar field.

Full training will be provided on all systems and tools.
