All JerseySTEM roles are pro-bono (unpaid) positions.JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey.
Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda.Membership is a minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week and includes a $100 refundable deposit, returned after six months of active membership. K–12 educators, retirees, veterans, interns, and students are exempt from the deposit.

JerseySTEM is seeking a member to design, implement, and architect our automation stack. The automation stack is the set of tools and workflow integrations that streamline operations, using AI features where helpful.
This role focuses on reducing manual work, improving consistency, enabling workflow-level interoperability across tools, and building a lean team to scale and sustain automation capabilities.
AI scope: Uses built‑in AI features (e.g., summarization, classification, routing) inside automation tools; no model training, data science, or ML expertise required

We are dedicated to partnering with local schools and other organizations to create and enhance STEM-oriented educational opportunities as part of students' paths towards college and career readiness, and to develop effective STEM programs and initiatives that engage students and educators. JerseySTEM is also committed to bridging the gender gap in STEM education and sharing STEM-related opportunities with underprivileged students and communities.
