Job Description

Business Partnership & Requirements Analysis

• Partner with business stakeholders to map business processes, data flows, and technology needs, and contribute to the business case for proposed solutions.
• Support demand intake, prioritization, and planning by assessing feasibility, effort, risk, and downstream impact of requested work.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for requirements clarification during development, helping resolve questions and remove impediments to delivery.
• Document business scenarios, exception handling, and edge cases to help improve solution quality and operational readiness.
• Maintain traceability between business requirements, technical specifications, development work, and testing outcomes.
• Communicate analysis findings, options, trade-offs, and risks clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

Solution Design & System Analysis

• Translate business requirements into functional designs, use cases, process flows, and detailed schematics of transaction and business flows.
• Perform analysis on initiatives spanning multiple systems, affiliates, and business disciplines.
• Assist with configuration of application capabilities to meet business requirements where custom software engineering is not required.
• Partner with architects, product owners, and software engineers on solution design, design approach, estimating, and planning.
• Maintain requirements traceability from business need through design, build, test, and release.
• Assist in defining and documenting data mappings, integration requirements, business rules, system triggers, and interface specifications.
• Analyze system workflows, APIs, and data exchanges to ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and aligned with business objectives.

Delivery Execution

• Develop detailed user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria that support efficient development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, standups, and requirements review sessions.
• Monitor assigned work items and support coordination between business and technical teams to help ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Support planning, prioritization, and delivery, balancing enhancement work against production support demand.
• Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and issues early so that blockers to delivery are removed.
• Partner with global team members, vendors, and cross-market teams across time zones to coordinate analysis, share domain knowledge, and apply consistent delivery practices and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and platform capabilities through the application of technology solutions.
• Participate in the adoption and continuous improvement of corporate IT processes.

Quality, Reliability & Production Support

• Plan and execute Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) validation procedures, including test strategy input, test case design, and user acceptance testing, to confirm that solutions satisfy documented requirements.
• Apply testing standards and continuous integration and continuous delivery discipline in partnership with software engineers.
• Investigate, document, and triage issues identified during testing and production support activities, partnering with senior team members to determine appropriate next steps.
• Contribute to performance and resiliency validation so that solutions meet availability, accuracy, and scalability expectations.
• Assist with root cause analysis of system issues and help distinguish between defects, configuration changes, and enhancement requests.
