Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management:
  • Asset Lifecycle Operations – Manage the lifecycle of financial assets and non-financial trackable items from procurement through to decommissioning, including asset registration, tracking, and maintenance across financial and operational systems
  • Capitalisation Operations – Ensure timely and accurate capitalisation of assets at the appropriate stage of the asset lifecycle in accordance with accounting policies
  • Stock Take & Asset Verification – Plan and conduct stock-taking, inspections, and reconciliation activities to ensure asset accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Asset Governance & Controls – Execute control and review activities to strengthen asset governance, ensuring assets are properly tracked, tagged, and maintained in compliance with internal standards.

Finance Operations:

You will oversee the timely processing of vendor invoices and payments, ensuring appropriate approvals and supporting documentation are in place. You will also support receivables processes, including billing coordination with relevant business units where required. You will support financial year-end closing activities, including accrual preparation and asset depreciation processes. In addition, you will coordinate with the Finance department and external auditors during year-end audits, providing the necessary documentation and support.

  • Accounts Payable Operations – Manage and execute invoice processing and payment activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
  • Accounts Receivable Operations – Support invoicing and collection activities, ensuring timely billing and proper tracking of receivables.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis – Prepare financial reports and perform analysis to support operational and management decision-making.
  • Financial Year-End Closing & Accrual Management – Support period-end and year-end financial closing activities, including accrual management, reconciliations, and financial reporting requirements.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
  • You will support the annual budgeting and forecasting process by coordinating with relevant business units to consolidate inputs and monitor both capital and operating expenditures. You will track budget performance, identify variances, and prepare management reports to support financial planning and decision-making.

Compliance & Controls

  • You will ensure all finance operations comply with relevant regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements. You will liaise with internal and external auditors and support the preparation of financial statements and schedules as required.

  • You will oversee the day-to-day office operations to ensure a well-organised, efficient, and conducive working environment. This includes managing office supplies, pantry resources, mail handling, and inventory management. You will also support facilities and workspace management, including furniture coordination, office renovations, and seating and space planning to meet operational needs.

Office Management:

  • Office Operations & Administration – Manage daily office operations, supplies, inventory, and administrative processes to ensure workplace efficiency and smooth business operations.
  • Facilities & Workspace Management – Coordinate office facilities, furniture, renovations, and workspace planning to optimise office functionality and employee experience.

Change Management & Transformation:

  • You will play an active role in supporting and driving organisational transformation initiatives, working closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to plan and implement change effectively. This includes assessing the impact of proposed changes on people, processes, and systems, while developing change management plans that address stakeholder needs and minimise operational disruption.
  • You will identify opportunities for digital transformation and process automation across asset, finance, and office management functions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. This includes streamlining processes, enhancing workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • You will also develop and deliver employee communications and engagement materials to keep staff informed and engaged throughout change and transformation initiatives. In addition, you will support the design and implementation of training and capability-building programmes to encourage the adoption of new ways of working.
  • Where relevant, you will support the implementation of new systems, tools, and workflows, ensuring that changes are effectively embedded and sustained within the organisation.

What we are looking for:

  • The ideal candidate holds a degree or diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience across finance and office administration functions. Experience in asset management and AP/AR is essential, finance data analysis and visualisation, while prior office management experience will be a strong advantage.
  • Experience in automation, business transformation, process re-engineering and change management
  • You should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, AI tools, familiar with Workday and AMS systems is an advantage, Canva. Strong organisational, versatile and multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive, can-do attitude are key to succeeding in this role.
