As a Tech Project Lead, you lead and coordinate in-store technology deployment projects, managing planning, resources, cross-functional teams, vendors, and risks to ensure smooth implementation and a successful transition into operations.
You drive continuous improvement through results tracking, issue resolution, and the handover of solutions to Tech Operations, in alignment with global standards.
WHAT YOU DO
Project Management & Execution
• Plan and coordinate store-related technology deployments, with a strong focus on project management.
• Provide project management support to the technology functions responsible for executing deployments.
• Ensure efficient project planning, clear communication, and proper resource allocation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Coordinate the end-to-end implementation of in-store technology solutions within the Sales Market.
Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination
• Manage cross-functional project teams, aligning stakeholders from Expansion, Retail Operations, Sales, and Tech, reporting to the Sales Market Tech Manager.
• Manage external vendors involved in the execution of retail technology deployments.
Risk, Improvement & Operational Handover
• Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and blockers, ensuring smooth transitions into operations.
• Track project outcomes, capture learnings, and drive continuous improvement.
• Hand over projects to operations (running business) and Tech Operations, following global standards.
• University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple functional areas.
• Ability to translate technical language into business-friendly terms.
• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office.
• More than 3 years of experience in project management, ideally in retail or technology-related environments.
• Proven experience managing IT implementation projects with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with product teams.
This position is based in Chile.
Mandatory requirements:
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency.
• Knowledge or experience in Project Management, Agile Frameworks, or similar methodologies.
