A Payments Specialist collaborates closely with operations, engineering, and finance groups to create or document technical solutions and resolve partner issues through technical troubleshooting.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve partner integration issues autonomously utilizing debugging tools to determine root cause.
Develop an in-depth understanding of documented process flows to identify process improvement opportunities and update documentation.
Track and project manage multiple projects simultaneously for partners, acting as a main point of contact for post-launch issues.
Identify when cases require escalation and engage effectively with higher support tiers and cross-functional teams.
Perform configuration and coding to enable, test, and validate new payment services.
Perform quality reviews for team deliverables, identify gaps, and assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members
Required Skills:
BA/BS degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
Working knowledge of SQL and Linux operating systems.
At least 1 year of Java programming experience in a source-controlled environment and experience building a web application.
At least 4 years of experience in coaching and mentoring (hands-on technical training experience is a plus).
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate highly technical documents into support content.
Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
Required Certification(s):
Any SQL skill certification will be preferred.
