This role is designed for a tech leader passionate about building and scaling innovative AI-driven products that transform digital commerce and empower entrepreneurs across Brazil. You will lead a development team focused on a GenAI Agent Platform, shaping its architecture, maturity, and scalability as a core foundation for future AI initiatives. Acting as both a people manager and technical strategist, you will guide engineers, align stakeholders, and ensure delivery of high-impact solutions in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The position blends software engineering leadership, product thinking, and AI expertise, requiring strong adaptability and a hands-on mindset. You will be responsible for fostering a high-performance culture, driving agile execution, and ensuring alignment between technical delivery and business goals. This is a strategic opportunity to influence how AI is embedded into large-scale digital ecosystems.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop a software engineering team, supporting career growth through 1:1s, performance feedback, and structured development plans (PDI).
- Guide the team in agile practices, facilitating ceremonies such as planning, refinement, retrospectives, and ensuring effective delivery routines.
- Remove technical and organizational blockers to maintain team productivity and a sustainable development pace.
- Define and communicate the squad’s vision, mission, and objectives in alignment with product and business strategy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to present results, gather feedback, align roadmaps, and ensure transparency on product evolution and OKRs.
- Oversee product and technical metrics, ensuring visibility into performance, quality, and business impact of initiatives.
- Participate in discovery processes, problem framing, solution design, and incident analysis for continuous product improvement.
- Coordinate cross-team initiatives required for the success and scalability of the GenAI platform.
Requirements:
- Proven experience leading software development teams in digital product environments.
- Strong technical background (former developer or architect) with ability to discuss system design, architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Experience or familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and understanding of LLM-based systems.
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and driving team delivery practices.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly across audiences.
- Experience in process improvement, product evolution, or technology modernization initiatives.
- Ability to lead teams through technological change, migration, or platform evolution.
- Knowledge of facilitation techniques and structured problem-solving approaches.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on leadership in fast-changing environments.
