Tech Lead - OSIA (Spring Boot Full Stack)

What you will enjoy doing

  • In this position you need to have an expert-level Java
    development experience, including modern Java features (Java 17/21 preferred).
  • Also you need to have deep knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud, and related technologies.
  • You need to be a person with strong understanding
    of API-first architecture, service decomposition, integration patterns, and
    event-driven systems.
  • Further you need to have experience with designing
    and developing distributed systems in production environments.
  • Also hands-on experience
    with React and modern frontend development practices, and strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, component-based architecture, state management, and REST API integration.
  • You will need to have an ability to guide
    frontend architecture and engineering decisions.
  • Also you need to have an experience with deploying
    and operating cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS.
  • You have strong understanding
    of containerization technologies including Docker and orchestration platforms
    such as Kubernetes. And also experience with building
    and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • You need to have a strong experience with
    relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
  • You have experience designing
    secure enterprise applications and implementing authentication and
    authorization using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Also you have understanding of application security, identity management and secure development practices.
  • You need to have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, also need to have an ability to influence technical direction and drive alignment across engineering teams.
  • Furthermore you need experience with mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional technical initiatives.

What makes you great

  • You need to have 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, and 3+ years in a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, Software Architect, or equivalent leadership role.
  • You can demonstrate success leading large-scale modernization or migration initiatives involving legacy enterprise applications.
  • You need to have demonstrated experience leading large-scale modernization initiatives, including the incremental migration of legacy monolithic applications to service-oriented or microservice-based architectures using patterns such as the Strangler Fig approach.
  • Also have an experience with Jasper Reports for enterprise reporting and skills with modernizing Java EE or other large enterprise monolithic applications.
  • You need to have knowledge of legacy Java ecosystems, including Java 8 and Apache Ant build systems, also experience with Jasper Reports or enterprise reporting solutions.
  • You also need to have familiarity with Spring AI, AI-assisted development patterns, and Model Context Protocol (MCP), and experience implementing observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar technologies.
  • You have knowledge of XSLT and legacy integration technologies.
  • And have knowledge of Apache
    Ant-based build systems.

Initial pay range: EUR X.XXX – EUR X.XXX gross per month.

The exact initial pay will be determined within the stated range based on the candidate’s qualifications, professional experience, skills, and competencies relevant
to the role, and will be agreed upon through a transparent process before the employment contract is concluded
