Job Description

We Are KPMG Israel.

KPMG Israel is more than a professional services firm, we are a community of people driven by impact.

As part of a leading global network, we partner with the most influential organizations to drive large-scale business and technology transformation, combining strategic thinking, innovation, and advanced technologies.

Guided by integrity, excellence, and forward thinking, we help organizations navigate complexity and create real change.

Our people are at the center, with space to lead, experiment, and grow in a dynamic and collaborative environment that connects personal development with meaningful impact on the future of business and society.

We’re looking for a hands-on tech lead to drive our AI and agentic development practice in the SAP ecosystem. You’ll be the technical focal point for the team: setting direction, owning key technical decisions, and making sure knowledge is shared and applied across projects. You’ll build production-grade AI solutions for enterprise customers running SAP. Prior SAP experience isn’t required, and we’ll teach you what you need.

What you’ll do

• Lead a development team: plan work, review code, mentor, and own delivery quality.
• Serve as the go-to expert for AI and agentic development, for the team, internal stakeholders, and customers.
• Define and maintain technical standards, best practices, and reusable components.
• Design and build AI and agentic applications, including LLM workflows, multi-step agents, tool and API integrations, and RAG pipelines.
• Integrate AI solutions with SAP (S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP BTP) and with non-SAP platforms.
• Contribute to solution architecture, effort estimation, and technical proposals.
• Track the AI landscape and bring proven tools and approaches into delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Hands-on experience building AI applications on LLM APIs (e.g., Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), with at least one solution delivered to production or customer use.
• Experience with agentic development: tool and function calling, multi-step orchestration, MCP, or agent frameworks (LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, or similar).
• Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience leading or mentoring developers, or acting as the technical owner of a project.
• Highly organized and able to manage several workstreams at once.
• A fast learner who is comfortable ramping up on new domains, SAP included.
• Strong communication skills in Hebrew and English, including explaining technical topics to non-technical audiences.

Advantage

• SAP BTP, CAP (Node.js), SAPUI5/Fiori, or S/4HANA Public Cloud extensibility.
• SAP AI Core, Generative AI Hub, or Joule.
• RAG, vector databases, and LLM evaluation.
• Cloud deployment (BTP, Azure, or AWS) and CI/CD.
• Consulting or customer-facing experience.
• AI security and governance awareness.

This position is open to all qualified candidates. We support diversity and view it as a strength that enhances our ability to develop, learn, and innovate. We advocate for inclusion and empower people of all backgrounds to contribute their unique perspectives
