Help build the technology behind the next chapter of SNS.
SNS is one of the world's leading destinations for sneakers, with physical stores in Paris, Berlin, London and Stockholm, and a global digital presence.
For more than 25 years, SNS has existed at the intersection of sneakers, music, basketball, art, design and contemporary culture.
We are strengthening the brand, building a faster and more integrated retail organisation, and creating one consistent SNS experience across physical and digital retail.
Technology plays a critical role in making that happen.
To help us build what comes next, we are looking for a Tech Lead to join our team in Stockholm.
Location: Stockholm
Employment: Full-time
As Tech Lead, you will be responsible for making technology work across SNS — today and for the future.
This is a broad and hands-on role.
You'll own our everyday technology environment, help colleagues solve practical technology problems, understand and improve the systems that run our business and lead larger technology initiatives as SNS continues to develop.
One day you might be helping a colleague with their computer or troubleshooting an issue between Business Central and Shopify. The next you could be evaluating how we improve our PIM, enable a better omnichannel experience or use AI to fundamentally improve the way a team works.
You won't be expected to build every technical solution yourself. But you will be expected to understand our technology landscape, take ownership, find solutions and know when specialist expertise is required.
Technology at SNS should ultimately create a better customer experience, a better business, or ideally both.
Build a technology environment that helps SNS move faster, operate better and create better experiences for our customers.
You'll help create an organisation where:
Everyday technology simply works.
Systems and integrations are reliable and understood internally.
Technology makes business processes simpler, not more complicated.
Teams use AI confidently and effectively in their everyday work.
Larger technology projects are delivered successfully.
Technology enables new and better retail and customer experiences.
External specialists provide expertise without becoming owners of critical SNS knowledge.
You'll own the day-to-day technology environment across our offices and stores.
This includes:
Microsoft 365, Entra and user administration.
Onboarding, offboarding and access management.
Purchasing, configuring and maintaining computers and workplace hardware.
Helping colleagues solve everyday technology problems.
Store technology, POS hardware, networks and connectivity.
Software licences and subscriptions.
Security, access and technology hygiene.
Coordinating specialist or local IT support when required.
We want to solve as much as we reasonably can internally while using external specialists where they genuinely add expertise or capacity.
SNS is an omnichannel business where product, inventory, orders, customers and payments move across multiple systems every day.
You'll build a strong understanding of how our technology landscape works across platforms such as:
Business Central.
Shopify.
PIM.
POS.
Integrations and APIs.
Inventory and order flows.
You'll troubleshoot problems, identify root causes and work across teams to improve data quality, system reliability and business processes.
Critical systems should be understood by SNS—not become black boxes owned by individual employees or external consultants.
We believe AI will fundamentally change how companies work.
Your role will be to help make sure SNS takes advantage of that opportunity.
You'll work across Finance, Logistics, E-Commerce, Retail, Marketing and Sales & Buying to identify where AI can improve processes, increase productivity and help people do better work.
But this isn't only about implementing AI solutions.
We want you to help build an organisation where people are comfortable using AI themselves—to solve problems, develop ideas, analyse information and drive their work forward.
You'll help teams discover relevant use cases, evaluate tools, share knowledge and establish practical guidelines and best practices.
Some technology improvements happen continuously. Others require larger projects and concentrated effort.
You'll lead and coordinate larger technology initiatives as the business develops.
These could include:
PIM, ERP or Shopify development or replacement.
New omnichannel capabilities.
Logistics and fulfilment technology.
Local market functionality.
New customer and retail experiences.
Automation and AI capabilities.
You'll work with the business to understand the underlying need, translate it into clear requirements, evaluate possible solutions and lead implementation together with internal teams and external specialists.
The objective isn't more technology.
It's the right technology.
You'll own the technology budget and help ensure we get the right value from our technology investments.
You'll:
Manage technology operating costs, licences and subscriptions.
Build business cases for larger investments.
Select and negotiate with suppliers.
Manage consultants and development partners.
Challenge unnecessary complexity and external costs.
Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer.
Technology touches almost every part of our business.
You'll work closely with:
Retail
E-Commerce
Logistics
Finance
Marketing
Sales & Buying
Each function owns its business processes, priorities and outcomes. Your role is to understand how technology supports them, challenge how things work today and help teams find better solutions.
This requires curiosity about the business—not just technology.
You'll be based at our Stockholm HQ while working across our international organisation and stores.
This is an entrepreneurial environment where everyone is expected to contribute, collaborate and continuously improve the business.
The role moves between everyday practical problems and longer-term development. No task should feel too small when it helps the organisation work better, and no technology question should be approached without understanding the business or customer problem behind it.
You're a technically capable generalist who is curious about both technology and business.
You enjoy understanding how things work, solving problems and finding simpler ways of doing things.
You'll probably have:
Strong general understanding of technology, business systems, integrations and data flows.
Experience from retail, e-commerce or a related consumer business.
The ability to troubleshoot technical and operational problems independently.
Experience working with technology suppliers, consultants or development partners.
Commercial understanding and the ability to evaluate technology investments.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
A genuine interest in AI and how it can change the way organisations work.
Fluent English.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra, Business Central, Shopify, PIM platforms, POS systems, APIs, automation tools, AI and information security is valuable, but we don't expect you to be an expert in everything.
We're looking for someone who:
Takes ownership and follows problems through to resolution.
Is hands-on and pragmatic.
Thinks commercially and keeps the customer top of mind.
Simplifies before adding complexity.
Is curious and continuously looks for better ways of working.
Enjoys helping other people become better at using technology.
Has a genuine interest in sneakers and sneaker culture.
Is passionate about retail and how physical and digital retail can continuously be improved.
Is excited by how technology can create new and better customer and retail experiences.
Has an interest in basketball, music, art and design.
Thrives in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.
Wants to build and improve things, not simply manage them.
For more than 25 years, SNS has helped shape sneaker culture through product, storytelling, collaborations, retail and community.
Today, we're building the next chapter.
Technology will be a fundamental part of that development—from making our everyday operations simpler and more efficient to improving how we operate across markets, connecting physical and digital retail and creating entirely new customer experiences.
AI also creates an opportunity to rethink how we work as an organisation, not simply automate what we already do.
As Tech Lead, you'll have the opportunity to influence all of this.
You'll work across the entire business, solve real problems, lead meaningful technology projects and help shape how SNS uses technology and AI to become a better retailer and a better business.
If you're excited about sneakers, retail and technology—and want to help build what's next at SNS—we'd love to hear from you.
Please include your CV together with a short cover letter explaining why you're interested in joining SNS.

SNS is a brand founded in 1999 out of the love and curiosity for the culture and life around sneakers, fashion, art, music, and basketball
Today SNS works through 4 main pillars:
SNS Brand
Through SNS Brand we can creatively transform our curiosity for new things, and our passion for heritage into items. A mix between full apparel collections or just that one special thing is being released on a regular cadence. SNS has worked on over 200 collaborative projects with all major footwear brands such as Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, New Balance, Converse, Reebok, Vans and more.
SNS Retail Experience
What started as a small store in the back streets of Södermalm back in 1999 has grown to a true retail experience with 7 locations in New York City, Los Angles, Tokyo, London, Paris, Berlin and Stockholm. At SNS Retail you will find the latest sneaker releases such as adidas YEEZY, Nike x Off-White, NikeLab Collections, adidas Consortium.
You will also find a curated assortment ranging between streetwear and fashion including brands such as Needles, Thisisneverthat, The North Face, ByBorre. Balanced with classic sneaker silhouettes such as Nike Air Force 1, Nike Air Max 1, Air Jordan 1, Converse All Star, Adidas Stan Smith, all classics from New Balance and much more.
SNS Entertainment
It was never just about sneakers. SNS has always had a soft spot for good friends, good times and good food. With a bar located under our SNS store in NYC, a restaurant in one of our buildings in Tokyo, and aspiring youth club in the basement of our Berlin store and more upcoming projects, SNS will continue to explore how to dive into areas that has inspired us a lot over the years.
SNS Cares
Through this foundation, we are able to give back and do better. Better for the community and better for the world. Recent projects include working with JMJ Foundation, Whenweallvote, Charity Drop for Unicef as well as more global initiatives to work more sustainable.
