Job Description

Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Key job responsibilities
* Lead Strategic Infrastructure Development
* Design and implement innovative solutions for complex technical challenges
* Create scalable, robust systems that can adapt to growing service demands
* Drive programs that enable organizational growth and efficiency

* Oversee Project Execution and Reporting
* Monitor and report on ground infrastructure health metrics to key stakeholders
* Ensure timely delivery of ground capacity to meet program objectives
* Manage project timelines, resources, and risks effectively
* Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Serve as the primary liaison between:
* Ground and Network Engineering teams
* Ground Infrastructure teams
* Leo legal and supply chain departments
* AWS organization

A day in the life
* Updates that report the state of the organization to the business
* Checking milestone activities status
* Strategizing with regional teams on ongoing programs
* Thinking Big about ways to build and operate efficiently
* Analyzing cost data to identify savings opportunities and submitting capital requisitions
* Developing three year regional ground infrastructure roadmaps
* Collaborating with engineering teams to develop tools and products that advances ground deployment
* Travel required to Leo infrastructure construction sites (up to 20%)

About the team
The Ground Infrastructure "Build and Operate" team on project Leo are accountable for the construction and steady state operation of every Ground Gateway, globally.

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years of project/program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience recognizing a challenge and working with a variety of teams and data sources to diagnose the problem and recommend solutions
- Experience working with fast-moving, high-performance teams and driving innovative solutions tailored to unique business environments
