We are hiring a Technician I - Clinical Field Tech.

A Technician I - Clinical Field Tech is responsible for traveling to various residential locations throughout the valley and following established research protocol with study participants. You will have a crucial role in supporting clinical research studies by performing a range of tasks related to data collection and study coordination while keeping participant safety and study confidentiality a top priority.

This is a flexible, part-time position, expected hours of at least 30 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Assists in the conduct of clinical research studies or trials following established protocols and standard operating procedures.

2. Conducts routine experiments and/or coordinates research study procedures in accordance with SOPs; receives, collects, and records study data in database; communicates and keeps researchers and/or PI up to date on any problems or concerns related to there search study or trial.

3. Responsible for collecting clinical samples for research including any storage and transportation measures.

4. Ensures proper documentation of Case Report Forms, regulatory documents, PI notes, and any other mandatory study-related documents and ensures quality and accuracy; archives documents for study per sponsor, government, and institutional requirements;keeps accurate records and provides necessary documents for regulatory audits.

5. Maintains and manages inventory and research study supplies.

6. Identify areas to improve research protocol and suggest solutions for implementation.

7. All other duties as assigned.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

1. Clinical study facilitation and data collection (50%).

2. Travel and transportation (30%).

3. Study inventory management (10%).

4. Study process improvements (10%).

5. All other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

1. CITI certification if you have one, otherwise will be necessary to achieve after being hired.

2. Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance is required to drive for role.

3. Ability to work flexible hours.

4. Proficient communication skills.

5. High degree of professionalism.

Preferred:

6. Previous experience in laboratory or clinical trial visits.
