The Avatar team is looking for a new colleague to join their DevOps team
The team
The Avatar team is responsible for the development and maintenance of the user-, authorisation and means software of BMG’s Megabank application. They work in an Agile way with a DevOps focus. Therefore, the team is responsible for the whole lifecycle of their applications.
Roles and responsibilities
In this DevOps team you as engineer are responsible for all activities relating to the applications they are responsible for. This consists among other (but not exclusively) of the following tasks:
Assist in designing and refining solutions for user-, authorization and means maintenance in Megabank
Work on stories to implement these solutions. Developing, testing and deploying the software.
Make sure all changes are (automated) tested (technical, functional and security tests)
Resolve incidents if they occur and communicate with BMG front office about the issue and the solution
Discuss integration with other teams responsible for MegaBank applications and follow up where needed.
Make sure all risk controls for the applications are properly in place

Experience developing and maintaining Java (21+) and Spring Boot applications
Experience with lit-html or similar templating language
Knowledge of BMG products (Cashpool and Netting) and processes
Experience with authorization and user management
You are able to develop secure, efficient and maintainable code with the right balance between solving the problem at hand and not over-engineering your solution
