The team
Your passion is to work with the latest and greatest technologies in the field of AI Engineering. You will work as an AIplatformengineer on different projects within theAgentic AI Delivery & Transformation, helpingdata scientiststrain, deploy,monitorandproductionizemodels.You will take part indeveloping andmaintainingan AIexecution platform,keepingan eye on good codingpractices,andcreatingre-usable code.
Roles and responsibilities:
The following responsibilities we expect from you in this role:
Familiar with software engineering practices like versioning, testing, documentation,code review
Experience working in GCP
Experience with GCP Vertex Model Registry andMLflow
Knowledge ofMLOpsarchitecture and practices
Programming inPythonorGo
Infrastructure as code (Terraform)
Experience in setting up both SQL as well asnoSQLdatabases
Knowledge of DevOpsmethodologyand tooling
Experience with monitoring,alertingand observability
Experience in Kubernetes (deployments and managing Kubernetes applications)
Experience in building data-oriented platforms
Relevant work experience inAIor data projects
Deployment and provisioning automation toolse.g.Docker, CI/CD
Nice to have
Basic knowledge of Machine Learning/AI and hands-on technologies and frameworks used in ML
Bash scripting and Linux systems administration
Experience with buildingdistributedlarge scale and secure applications
Good understanding of databases includingBigQuery
Experience with working in an agile/scrum way
Being acontributortoopen-sourceprojects is a strong plus

We are building cloud ready state of the art VISTA (Value driven Insights and Scalable Technology Analytics) Platform to help ING to be even more data driven. This is a joined effort between ING units, and you are going to be part of distributed multi-national and multi-cultural team. There is plenty of work and fun down this road. You can join team of 4 engineers (ML Platform Engineers, MLOps Engineers) that have already delivered Machine Learning Platform (inference over API) on on-prem and starts working on Google Cloud Platform.
