Are you passionate about building quality into software from the ground up? As a Quality Engineer II in the IBP team, you’ll play a key role in making quality part of everyday engineering. You’ll work on a highly visible, business-critical platform, where your impact is real and directly felt by users and clients worldwide.
The team
You’ll join the IBP team within Transaction Services (WB Tech), part of Payments & Channels. We build and maintain applications that are essential for ING’s daily operations.

We actively contribute to engineering best practices, internal libraries, and open-source initiatives. Collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement are at the core of how we work.
Roles and responsibilities
As a Quality Engineer, you will help ensure quality is embedded in the entire software development lifecycle. In your day-to-day work you will:
Contribute to requirement analysis and challenge where needed to improve clarity and testability
Design and develop test scenarios, test cases, and automated tests
Increase the frequency and efficiency of test execution cycles
Improve the stability and consistency of test executions
Maintain and enhance test infrastructure, including automation pipelines
Continuously improve test capabilities to increase coverage and confidence
