We have been hired by a leading global trading platform to source a highly qualified Technology Audit Coordinator.

The ideal candidate will have experience with SOC1 audits, European financial regulator audits, and internal audits. This position requires a foundational understanding of Change Management, User Access, Information Security, and IT Operations controls and governance. You will be the primary interface to internal and external auditors and will be responsible for maintaining control matrices and evidence collected to support audits on controls.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in reviewing and revising technology policy and procedures documentation
  • Maintain control matrices used in annual audit processes and directly relate to IT and Software Development department policies and procedures
  • Work with auditors on the scope of audits and descriptions of processes and controls
  • Collect evidence to support testing of controls during and between audit periods
  • Discuss audit findings with Technology management and collaborate on management responses
  • Act as the single point of communication for all Technology audit-related topics

Skills and Experience Required

  • 5+ years in conducting technology and financial control audits, such as SOC1
  • Practical understanding of technology areas, including infrastructure, user access, software change management, operations, and security
  • Strong familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
  • Ability to collect information from JIRA and other sources using filters and custom reports
  • Comfortable speaking to both auditors and technicians about policies, procedures, and controls
  • Previously held positions in Infosec, Software Engineering, Software Project Management, or IT Operations is a major plus

Work Schedule

  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Working from the office - 3 days per week
